Turning to the inside of a painting. Getting to know its structure - the laws governing the matter that makes it up. Consciously reducing the means of artistic expression and limiting them to the forms of lines and planes. In his works, Zbigniew Gostomski goes beyond the previous understanding of the structure of a work of art. He takes them out of the framework of one specific context and gives them new life through the possibility of giving them multiple symbolic meanings.
For Gostomski, the artistic and aesthetic value of a work of art, which is a visualisation of a problem and the way in which this problem is presented, is as important a task for the artist in creating a work of art as the creative process itself.
