Stanisław
Fijałkowski

Stimulating the viewer's imagination, moving away from allusiveness toward suggestiveness. Creating stories that are constantly ongoing and can have infinite endings yet to be discovered by anyone. For Stanislaw Fijalkowski, one of the most interesting ways that practicing informel gave him was the possibility of using the means of expression in a symbolic way. Placing abstract forms in pictorial reality became necessary only if they were to bring additional hidden content to the work, giving the desired meaning.

By intelligently ascetic use of only those means of artistic expression recognized by the artist from the necessary - he created works that were calm and harmonious and at the same time expressive and emotional. The achieved effect was the result of using a cool color palette with an admixture of suddenly appearing aggressive black.
